This is the camera I use every day to shoot. I absolutely love it! It takes incredible images, has built in Wi-Fi and a flip screen that I LOVE. In terms of pricing, this camera is more of a mid-range camera so if you are looking for an entry level option that is a little more affordable, I would suggest the Canon Rebel Series like the t7i. My first ever DSLR camera was a Canon Rebel and I loved it. It was a wonderful camera to learn all of the basics of photography, while delivering on consistently beautiful images.
This lens is a GEM! It is incredibly affordable (like under $200 affordable) and is wonderful to create images with a beautiful blurry background because of its aperture that can go as wide as f/1.8. This one is a must for any photographer in my opinion.
This is the first higher end lens I ever got and I do not regret it one bit. I love the fact that this lens is incredibly sharp, has an aperture that can go as low as f/1.4 and also travels well. I love bringing it along with me when I go on adventures as it not only captures small details beautifully, but also has a wider focal length allowing me to photograph landscapes and do street photography.
This one is actually my boyfriend’s lens but I borrow it once in a while mainly to shoot overhead, when I want to capture a larger scene like a table set up. It is a great all around lens however, the fact that it has a higher aperture (f/4.0) is the main negative of this lens as it doest not allow me to capture images with a shallow depth of field and blurry backgrounds.
